1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Fireplug collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

• User Account Information: When you create an account on Fireplug, we collect basic information, such as your username, password, and a valid email address. You may also provide additional information, such as your real name and photograph, which we classify as “User Personal Information.”
• User Personal Information: This includes any information that can personally identify you, such as your username, email address, and other optional profile data you choose to share. Aggregated, non-personally identifying information is not included in this category.
• Location Data: Our mobile app, Fireplug Field Assistant, can collect device location data. This information is used for in-app navigation, incident location tracking, and to show the location of other active devices linked to the same incident.
• Usage for location data:
  • In-app navigation, we supply our users with an in-app navigation solution to the incident location and nearest hospitals based on the location.
  • We use notifications to notify users for upcoming manoeuvres from the navigation even when the application is running in the background.
  • Showing the location of the device while the incident is active.
  • Tracking vehicles and EMT’s when on duty even if the application is not active.

This information is shared with other active devices linked to      the same active incident to see other devices on the field.

3. Why we collect this information

We collect and use your information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide and personalize the services you request.
• To communicate with you as per your preferences.
• To optimize and improve our services.
• To enable navigation and track incident locations in the Fireplug Field Assistant app.

4. How we use your information

We use your User Personal Information to:

• Identify you on Fireplug and display your profile to other users if requested.
• Send you email communications based on your consent.
• Share your location data with other users during active incidents to provide situational awareness.

5. Sharing your information

We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

• Facilitating our service delivery.
• Analyzing service usage.
• Assisting with navigation and location tracking.

These providers are obligated to use your information solely for the purposes we specify and are not permitted to disclose it for any other reason.

• Data Removal: You can request the removal of your data by emailing us at support@fireplug.be or through the web application at https://app.fireplug.be.

Dit Privacybeleid legt uit welke informatie Fireplug verzamelt, waarom we deze verzamelen, hoe we deze gebruiken en uw rechten met betrekking tot uw informatie. Door gebruik te maken van onze diensten, stemt u in met de gegevenspraktijken zoals beschreven in dit beleid.

2. Informatie die verzameld wordt

• Gebruikersaccountinformatie: Bij het aanmaken van een account verzamelen we basisinformatie zoals uw gebruikersnaam, wachtwoord en geldig e-mailadres. U kunt ook aanvullende informatie verstrekken, zoals uw echte naam en foto, wat wij beschouwen als
• Persoonlijke Gebruikersinformatie Dit omvat alle informatie die u persoonlijk kan identificeren, zoals uw gebruikersnaam, e-mailadres en andere optionele profielgegevens die u deelt. Geaggregeerde, niet-persoonlijk identificeerbare informatie valt hier niet onder.
• Locatiegegevens: Onze mobiele app, Fireplug Field Assistant, kan locatiegegevens van het apparaat verzamelen. Deze informatie wordt gebruikt voor navigatie in de app, incidentlocatietracking en om de locatie van andere actieve apparaten te tonen die aan hetzelfde incident zijn gekoppeld.
  • • Navigatie in de app naar de incidentlocatie en dichtstbijzijnde ziekenhuizen.
    • Meldingen voor aankomende manoeuvres, zelfs wanneer de app op de achtergrond draait.
    • Het tonen van de apparaatlocatie tijdens actieve incidenten.
    • Voertuigen en EMT’s volgen tijdens hun dienst, zelfs wanneer de app niet actief is.

  Deze informatie wordt gedeeld met andere actieve apparaten die aan hetzelfde actieve incident zijn gekoppeld om andere apparaten op het veld te zien.

  3. Waarom we deze informatie verzamelen

  We verzamelen en gebruiken uw informatie voor de volgende doeleinden:

  • • • Om uw account aan te maken en te beheren.
      • Om de diensten die u aanvraagt te leveren en te personaliseren.
      • Om met u te communiceren volgens uw voorkeuren.
      • Om onze diensten te optimaliseren en te verbeteren.
      • Om navigatie mogelijk te maken en incidentlocaties te volgen in de Fireplug Field Assistant-app.

  4. Hoe we uw informatie gebruiken

  We gebruiken uw Persoonlijke Gebruikersinformatie om:

  • • • U te identificeren op Fireplug en uw profiel aan andere gebruikers te tonen indien u daarom vraagt.
      • U e-mailberichten te sturen op basis van uw toestemming.
      • Uw locatiegegevens te delen met andere gebruikers tijdens actieve incidenten om situationeel bewustzijn te bieden.

  5. Delen van uw informatie

  We kunnen uw Persoonlijke Informatie delen met externe dienstverleners die namens ons diensten uitvoeren, zoals:

      • Het analyseren van gebruik van de dienst.
      • Assistentie bij navigatie en locatietracking.

  Deze providers zijn verplicht om uw informatie uitsluitend te gebruiken voor de doeleinden die wij specificeren en mogen deze informatie niet voor andere doeleinden bekendmaken.

  6. Uw rechten en keuzes

      • Verwijdering van gegevens: U kunt verzoeken om uw gegevens te verwijderen door een e-mail te sturen naar support@fireplug.be of via de webapplicatie op https://app.fireplug.be.

  7. Hoe we me u communiceren

  We zullen alleen met u communiceren via uw e-mailadres als u ons hiervoor toestemming heeft gegeven. U kunt uw communicatievoorkeuren beheren via uw accountinstellingen.

  8. Wijzigingen in dit privacy beleid

  We kunnen dit Privacybeleid van tijd tot tijd bijwerken. Eventuele wijzigingen worden op deze pagina geplaatst en indien er significante wijzigingen worden aangebracht, zullen we u hiervan op de hoogte stellen via e-mail of via de app.
